+The testing methodology that was used to determine the frequency response of the Ploopy Headphones is simple, and will be laid out here. It requires some specialised equipment in order to perform the tests, but the hope is that identical equipment and strict adherence to this measurement methodology will produce identical frequency responses to the one that is used to communicate the performance of the headphones.
+
+It is assumed that anybody following this guide has the necessary equipment, as well as the knowledge of how to utilise it successfully. If this is not the case, there are many guides available online that explain things not found in this guide.

+## Equipment
+
+You will need:
+
+- A computer
+- miniDSP EARS
+- Room EQ Wizard, *a.k.a.* REW
+- Ploopy Headphones
+- Ploopy Amplifier
+
+## Measurement method
+
+#### Step 1: Plug the miniDSP EARS and the Ploopy Headphones in to your computer.
+
+- The miniDSP EARS will register as a microphone.
+- The Ploopy Headphones will register as headphones.
+
+#### Step 2: Set up the miniDSP EARS HEQ calibration.
+
+- Import the miniDSP EARS HEQ calibration into REW. This is miniDSP's calibration for measurement purposes.
+
+#### Step 3: Run a frequency sweep through REW.
+
+- *For best results, this test must be performed in a quiet room.*
+
+#### Step 4: Compare your results with the official Ploopy results.
